Old Fashion Lard Soap

Lard soap offer many benefits over store-bought soaps that are loaded with chemicals and perfumes.  Many so-called "home/hand made" soaps are done with what's known as the "melt & pour" method, these greatly overpriced soaps utilize a commercially produced chemical soap base and offer no benefits over store-bought soaps except to remove large sums of money from your pocket.

 

The lye is fully reacted with the lard creating a soap that is not only natural and gentle but also very effective. Unlike the chemical-based store-bought processed soaps, lard soap does not create the mass of lather because lather is not required for cleaning and the more a soap lathers, the less effective it is because the lather is nothing more than air bubbles that do nothing for cleaning. On a side note, people suffering from skin problems often benefit from the use of pure natural lard soap because it doesn't contain any unwanted chemicals or perfumes, it's also reportedly effective to assist with treatment of skin issues caused by chafing, poison ivy, poison oak and insect bites, however, I can make no claims or guarantee of such.

 

Because my soap is a hand made product, the actual size, color, shape and texture may vary slightly.  When you purchase my soap, you're not going to get excessive or fancy packaging but I do offer gift-wrapping and direct-shipping services on all my products including the soap (additional charges may apply).  I will combine shipping and I don't gouge on shipping costs, I don't like being gouged and won't pull that crap with anyone - I appreciate all my clients and treat each one as I would like to be treated when I'm buying something.
